Entering Your Checking Account Information

When you select the payment type ECheck, the Payment Information page appears with the Payment Account box. To create an e-check An electronic check created from your bank account information. you will need your routing number, account number, and account type.

Complete the following steps to use an electronic check to pay your bill.

  1. Find your routing (RTN) number and account number on your check.


     

  2. Find the Payment Account box on the Payment Information page.


     

  3. Type your nine digit routing (RTN) number in the Routing Number field.

  4. Type your bank account number in the Account Number field.

  5. If you want to create an electronic check that uses your savings account, click the Account Type field and then select Savings. You can usually get your account and routing number from your savings account statement.

  6. When the fields are completed, click Continue. The Billing Information page opens.
